Space Week NY 2026 is brought to you by Empire Space
Empire Space is a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to growing the space industry in New York. Goals include fostering space sector economic growth and job creation, promoting research and development, and increasing academic and commercial opportunities in the space sector for New Yorkers of all backgrounds.
Empire Space is an active affiliate of the NASA New York Space Grant program and was a founding member of the New York Consortium for Space Technology. Major joint projects with these organizations include our Needs Assessment survey of New York space companies, as well as numerous networking and informational events.
Key Empire Space Resources
Empire Space has spent 5 years building out our Census database of space and aerospace related companies, organizations, and facilities across New York. This interactive database contains nearly 1,600 unique entries and can be found at empirespace.org/data.
